Wood is awesome
I just redid a lil piece of furniture which I’ve owned for a while, it was mad screwed up and there was paint all over it – sadly I didnt take BEFORE pics, but here are the AFTER pics:
whoot. its SO pretty! I drenched it in wood-oil-BEHANDLA shizzle I got from IKEA a while back and I must say it looks terrific.
Ready for another 20 years of daily use as my clothes-I’m-wearing-but-not-right-now-depository.

To think that the above started out like the thing below, is amazing. Makes me wish I could do that!

iPhone Graffiti
Last Week.. or already two weeks ago I taught a course called “Styles” again, where kids learn how to draw Letters and some of the foundations of what could be called Graffiti.
It’s always a blast with the kids. Seeing how smart and funny (some) of them are is super inspiring! And it’s fun because I get to sketch a lot..
Here’s one I did for the Pedal Gents.. mabe for a T-shirt?
This weekend our newly formed “STYLEZH crew” (stylezh.ch coming sooon!) was hired to paint a mural besides a newly renovated schoolyard:
sucks that the “Polomoiod” app makes the pictures that much smaller, other than that it’s cool, it really looks like a scanned in Polaroid:
And here’s the finished piece: (Better pics coming soon, I promise.)
I love how colorful and playful it is – just right for a schoolyard. The attention to shading makes it really pop out, which is pretty fresh in mon opinion.
It was so much fun to paint and to come up with the sketches – huge props to my partners Reto & Michi. Can’t wait for more sessions!
oh and as a special goodie another tiltshiftgen’ed up drawing I just finished for a sticker or a t-shirt – it’s a remix of an old classic sticker, so I can’t really take any credit:
Stylezh!
For the past two days two friends of mine and I did a commission in a schoolyard, it turned out pretty awesome given the fact that we hadn’t painted in forever… haha.
Of course the theme was given to us, and this particular drawing was chosen by the students..We had a blast, can’t wait for the next one!
What we started with:
At the end of the first day:
